It’s Friday at GHWI

I am running rather late. This cold weather is slowing me down, but it is better than the record heat Oklahoma had this summer, and we have no snow like some of you up North. With this cool down, I don’t want to get out of bed. I want to hibernate. I sleep the best in a cool room with blankets thrown over me. I think this takes me back to my childhood before central heat and air.

Anyway, I want to share some projects that Rhonda and Julia have created in the past few days.

The first one is Rhonda’s. Go check out Rhonda’s blog. She has over 200 followers and she has some great blog candy going on.

The next two are Julia’s. The first one she entered in one of the weekly Chick Challenges.

All three of these projects are fantastic. I do appreciate my beautiful Design Team.

Ippity will have two new stamp set releases tomorrow. The sets are “Pride and Pain,” and “Warm Wishes.” They will be posted tomorrow and you can purchase them at the GHWI Sales Blog.

Monday starts another blog sketch challenge for Get Hippity with Ippity. This challenge will end on November 19.

One more announcement, on The Crafter’s Lounge and in the GHWI group, we have a new “card” game going on. With the game you will win a four piece grab bag of Ippity and Unity stamps, but you must use an Ippity or Unity stamp. This little game will end November 30. Have you every thought about combining the GHWI sketch challenge with this card game? I think this is a win/win situation.

GHWI Fall Colors are Here!

It’s Friday and three more days until November. Where has this year gone? 2012 is just around the corner.

A bit of good news...we, the GHWI Design Team, now have our sixth designer for Get Hippity with Ippity. I would like to introduce you to Tracey Malnofski. Really no introductions are necessary, we all know her. I have been after her for several months to join our Design Team, and she finally said YES! She’s already the owner of The Crafter’s Café, the owner/artist of The Stamping Boutique, and an Artista for Unity Stamp Co. and Ippity. This position seems right up her alley, right? Welcome, Tracey. We cannot wait to see more of your designer talent. Tracey also designed all of our GHWI badges. They are AWESOME!

I have several projects to share today. All the stamps sets are from Ippity and you can find them at my GHWI Sales Blog.

Rhonda has created a note card with a matching envelope. This is beautiful and very well made. I would call her a paper engineer also. Check out Rhonda's blog for all the details.

Julia’s project is a really cute tent card. I am loving all the fall colors. Julia's blog will also have all the details.

I showed off Melissa’s little piece of art last week, but she has been busy again this week. Check these out.

Happy Fall!

We, the GHWI Design Team, hope everyone has had a great week.
We have some inspiration pieces to show you for our Get Hippity with Ippity Challenge #8. This challenge started on Monday, Oct. 17 and lasts until Nov. 5. For this challenge we want to see your “Fall Colors.” We also want to see projects of all kinds, it does not have to be cards. It can be mixed-media, scrapbook layouts, woodworking, etc., but show us your “Fall Colors.”

Our first one is by our newest Design Team Member, Sara. She chose to create a mixed-media piece. Don’t you just love the Halloween scene she made? You can check out all the details on her blog, “Two Mules for Sister Sara.”

The second is from our Senior Design Team Member, Melissa. Her card was created using one of the newest Ippity stamp sets “Thanks for all Things.” I love her use of all the fall colors and her layout. Visit Melissa’s blog, “My Many Journeys,” for all the details.

New projects for GHWI

Projects from the DT of GHWI

It’s Friday again and tomorrow brings October. All the fall colors in Oklahoma are starting to show. They are truly beautiful!

This week I wanted to share some projects that the GHWI Design Team has created for our Challenge #6 “Buttons, or Bows, or Bling, Oh My!” that ends tomorrow. I hope you enjoy them.

Julia has created a “clean and simple” card that is just stunning. She used the {ippity} stamp set “Now and Always.” This is one of my favorite sets and one of the most popular.

Melissa has created a vibrant project using Unity’s July Kit of The Month. I love her colors.

Rhonda has used an {ippity} set “Books a’ Flutter” for her beautiful card. I love her colors too, and her dry embossing.

October 3 is time for another Get Hippity with Ippity/Join the Unity Community challenge blog. Please join us for Challenge #7. Your challenge will be creating anything using the sketch that is provided. We want to see whatever your creative heart desires. What you win is an {ippity} stamp set of your choice and a Guest Designer spot on our challenge blog, featuring your creation using the ippity set you won.

Get Hippity with {ippity} Challenge #6

Another week has gone by! Can you believe it? Here in Oklahoma we have finally had some much needed rain. The temperature today was a high of 70°, just wonderful!

Today I am going to brag! I have the most wonderful and creative Design Team that anyone could ask for. To date, I have three DT members, Melissa, Rhonda, and Julia. I am going to show you what they have created for our current challenge at Get Hippity with {ippity} Challenge #6. The theme is “Buttons, or Bows, or Bling, Oh My!” You still have a week to enter.

After you have taken a look at their little pieces of art, please hop on over and give them some blog love.

Melissa’s project uses the “All things are Possible” set. This {ippity} set was designed by our own Tracey Malnofski. For Melissa’s details please visit her blog “My Many Journeys.”

Rhonda found time to create two projects. Her art was completed using the “Gingham Christmas Greetings” and “Books a’ Flutter” sets. Her blog, “Rhonda’s Place to Share,” will have all the details also.

Julia has designed some ATCs (artist trading cards). These are just beautiful! I am so glad that she chose fall colors. She has used the sets “Fall for You” and Now and Always.” All her details will be posted on her blog, “Paper and Scraps Creations by Julia.”

Get Hippity with {ippity} Update

I think cooler weather is here to stay in Oklahoma. We hit 101° on Tuesday, and Wednesday our high is 75°. By the time this posts, I will probably be in a sweater. I hope this is happening where you are. Here in the center of the country we are still praying for rain. Texas needs is real bad!

I want to take this time to share some marvelous creations by Melissa and Rhonda for our current sketch challenge that ends Saturday, Sept. 17.

First is Melissa. Her project was created using on the most popular {ippity} sets, Now and Always.

The next little piece of art is from Rhonda. She used one of our new stamps sets, Gingham Christmas Greetings.

I also wanted to introduce you to our NEW and third Design Team Member Julia. She has completed several projects already, but this one jumped out at me because of the colors. I love it when colors POP! The set that she used is Fall for You.

GHWI Challenge No. 5 and {ippity} New Releases

Our Get Hippity with {ippity} Challenge #5 started Monday, September 5, and will end on September 17. The winner will be announced on September 19 along with our next challenge. Yep, we are going to have two challenges a month. They will be posted on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. The first one of the month will always be a sketch and the second one will be theme oriented. We have InLinkz set up above for you to place your entry. Please read the challenge rules posted below in the tab area on the blog.

What do you win? A stamp set of your choice from my Get Hippity with {ippity}sales blog and a Guest Designer spot in one of the coming months.  We will use the “random generator” for the drawing and “InLinkz” for your entries.

My inspiration piece is from one of our {ippity} new releases. If you need more details on my project, please check out my personal blog, AJ’s Designs.

This release is “ALL things are POSSIBLE,” and is the set that I used for my project. I do love all things with wings. This set was created by the talented artist, Tracey Malnofski, owner of The Stamping Boutique. Tracey is also one of the “Artistas” for Unity Stamp Co.

The second one is “Gingham Christmas Greetings.” I think this particular set is going to be very popular. Both sets are for sell on my {ippity} sales blog.

Loads of Love and Things to Come

Happy Friday to everyone! The weekend is here!

I wanted to share a project that Melissa, one of my DT members, created. She used the {ippity} set, Loads of Love. This set was designed by Tracey Malnofski, owner and artist of The Stamping Boutique, and also an “Artista” for Unity Stamp Co.

Over at The Crafter’s Café in the Get Hippity with {ippity} group, Challenge #4’s Color Combo is still going on. You still have a few days to get your entry in. The prize is an {ippity} stamp set of your choice from my {ippity} Sales Blog.

Beginning in September we, me and my GHWI Design Team, are opening up our blog to two monthly challenges. Each will begin on the first and third Mondays of the month. Our very first one, on Sept. 5, is a sketch challenge. One of the privileges of being a Get Hippity with {ippity} group member is you will get a sneak peak, two weeks in advance, of the next challenge! Music of My Heart

Happy Friday, everyone! The summer is almost over and school has started in many states. Boy the time does fly by.

Today, I want to share a project that Rhonda, our new Design Team member, created today using the Music of My Heart {ippity} stamp set. For all the details, check out Rhonda’s blog, Rhonda’s Place to Share, and leave her some love.

Challenge #4 is still going on over at Get Hippity with{ippity} group at The Crafter’s Café. It’s a “color combo” and you can use any image of your choosing. Challenge #4 will end on August 31, so you still have plenty of time.

On September 5, Challenge #5 will be taking place at the Get Hippity with{ippity}Blog. This will be a sketch challenge and will run until September 17. The GHWI team has a very special announcement…welcome Get Hippity with {ippity}’s newest Design Team member, Rhonda Miller. We welcome Rhonda with open arms here at GHWI.
